What can I sell?
Almost anything legal: products you ship, digital downloads, services and freelance work, memberships, courses and communities, all from one store. The only limits are the things Stripe does not allow on its restricted businesses list.
What does Sellabo cost?
One fee per sale and no monthly plan. On the Standard plan it is 2.9%. On a $100 sale, Sellabo takes $2.90, Stripe charges its own card processing separately (about $3.20 at its standard US rate of 2.9% + 30¢, and that goes to Stripe, not us), and $93.90 lands in your Stripe account. Optional higher tiers cost more per sale and add AI credits and extra tools; you can switch back any time.
How do I get paid?
Connect your own Stripe account. Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, the money goes into your Stripe balance, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its normal schedule. Sellabo never holds it. Not on Stripe yet? Turn on PayPal, Cash App or Venmo and buyers can pay you directly today.
Can I move from Shopify, Etsy, Gumroad or Stan?
Yes. Import your products, discount codes, files and page copy free from your old platform’s export file. Then send us a link to your old store from the Finance page; once we confirm it is yours, your fee drops from 2.9% to 2.2% for 6 months.
Does Sellabo handle sales tax or VAT?
Sellabo is not a merchant of record: you are the seller, and the money is yours, in your own Stripe account. Turn on Stripe Tax and Taxes in your dashboard and Stripe adds the right sales tax or VAT at checkout where you are registered. Registering and filing stay with you. If you want another company to carry tax responsibility for you, a merchant of record like Lemon Squeezy or Paddle is the better fit, at a higher fee.
How do clip bounties work?
You set a rate per 1,000 views, a minimum, a cap per clip and a budget. Clippers find your bounty on sellabo.com/earn and submit TikToks, Reels and Shorts. YouTube views are counted automatically; TikTok and Reels views are reported by the clipper and confirmed by you. Sellabo works out what each clipper is owed, and you pay them in one click by PayPal, Cash App or Venmo.
Do buyers need an account?
No. Buyers check out as guests. For memberships and downloads they make a free account after paying, so they can come back to what they bought.
Can I leave any time?
Yes. There is no contract or monthly plan to cancel. Your Stripe account, your customers and your products are yours, and you can export your customer list whenever you like.
