Your first 10 sales: what actually works
The fastest, cheapest ways new sellers get their first buyers, and the mistakes that waste weeks.

Start with people who already trust you
Your first sales usually come from people who know you. Send a short personal message (not a mass post) to 20 people who might want it or know someone who does. Ask for a share if they are not the buyer.
Show up where buyers already are
Find 3 places your buyers gather: subreddits, Facebook groups, Discord servers, TikTok hashtags, local markets. Be helpful first, follow each place’s rules on promotion, and share your store when it genuinely answers a question.
Make content that shows the product working
Short videos of the product being made, used or delivered outperform polished ads for new brands. Post consistently for two weeks before judging results.
Give people a reason to buy now
A launch promo code for the first week (Discounts page), a limited batch, or a bonus for the first 10 buyers. Be honest: only say "limited" if it truly is.
Let others sell for you
Turn on an affiliate program so fans earn a commission on sales they send, or run a Content Rewards campaign that pays creators per 1,000 views. Both are listed on the public Earn page.
Ask every buyer for feedback
Message your first buyers, ask what almost stopped them from buying, and fix that on your store page. With permission, add their words as a review.
