Choose packaging first
Weigh and measure your packed product. Size and weight decide your shipping cost more than distance. Lighter, smaller packaging can cut costs a lot.
Compare carriers
In the US, compare USPS, UPS and FedEx rates for your package size. Shipping software and many carriers’ own sites offer discounted label prices compared with buying at the counter.
Decide what buyers pay
- Flat shipping (set per product on Sellabo): simple and predictable
- Free shipping with the cost built into the price: often converts better
Whatever you choose, say it clearly on the product.
Ship fast and share tracking
Ship within the time you promised, mark the order shipped on the Orders page, and email the buyer the tracking number (reply to the order email you got).
Plan for returns and damage
Write a short returns policy (an extra page on Design & pages is perfect for it), keep a photo of each packed order, and consider insurance on valuable items.
